Drop a Notice PDF or Screenshot
This only scans the filename for obvious red flags (old years, "fake"/"edited" in the name, wrong file type). It cannot read a digital signature or confirm anything is genuinely official.
๐Ÿ”Ž Heuristic Check Complete

โœ… Mark as Confirmed (Cross-Device Sync)
Only use this after you personally checked an official source. It sets the shared lock (via the backend) so every device open on this app shows 100% and the confirmation banner โ€” it does not verify anything by itself.
Where did you confirm this? (required)
    ๐Ÿ’ก What This Actually Checks

    1. Recycled-year check: Flags filenames or text referencing a year other than the current one.

    2. Filename wording: Flags words like "fake", "edited", or "copy" in the filename.

    3. File type: Flags anything that isn't a PDF/PNG/JPG.

There is no letterhead, digital-signature, or government-registry check โ€” treat a "no red flags" result as inconclusive, not confirmation.

What This App Can and Can't Verify

During active monsoon spells, misleading screenshots with altered dates circulate on WhatsApp groups. Being upfront about the limits of this tool matters more than looking authoritative โ€” here's exactly what it does.

    Layer 1: Text/Filename Heuristics Only

    No Digital-Signature or Cryptographic Check

This app cannot read a PDF's digital signature or certificate. It only scans the filename and any text you paste for obvious red flags (old years, "fake"/"edited" in the name). A "no red flags" result is not proof of authenticity.

Layer 2: No Government Registry Access

    No Live Dispatch Number Lookup

There is no crawler checking dispatch numbers (เคชเคคเฅเคฐเคพเค‚เค•) against your district administration website or any official registry. Always cross-check a dispatch number on the real portal yourself.

    Layer 3: Recycled-Notice Flagging

    Year/Date Mismatch Warning

If a filename or pasted text references a year other than the current one, it's flagged as possibly recycled โ€” a useful hint, not a guarantee.

    Layer 4: Human Confirmation Required

Cross-Device Sync Needs a Real Source

The "Confirm Holiday" action requires you to type where you personally verified the closure. The backend stores that source and syncs the confirmed state to your other devices โ€” it never confirms a closure on its own.
